Summary

Manages shift to provide for a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and company assets.  Supervises security staff on assigned shift.  Directs staff and assists in the handling of incidents and emergencies.  Summons police/fire agencies as needed. Follows all gaming regulations.  Oversees required drops.  



Essential Functions

  • Provides exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Leads subordinates to provide exceptional guest service to internal/external guests.
  • Supervises security personnel during assigned shift.
  • Manages shift to provide for a safe and secure environment for guests, employees, and company assets.  
  • Directs staff and assists in the handling of incidents and emergencies.
  • Summons police/fire agencies as needed.
  • Follows all gaming regulations.
  •  
  • Ensures all necessary documentation is completed, from daily activity logs to incident reports.
  • Oversees required drops.
  •  
  • Schedules employees and assigns tasks, staying within budgetary guidelines.
  • Schedules days off.
  • Approves payroll.
  • Coordinates and/or facilitates training.
  •  
  • Conducts performance evaluations.
  • Coaches employees for improvement.
  • Administers discipline as needed.
  • Upholds company rules, gaming regulations, and laws.
  • Interviews and selects personnel as needed.
  • Develops personnel.
  • Motivates staff.
  • Special projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must be able to obtain all necessary licenses as required by local, state and federal governments.
