FREE BET BLACKJACK PUSH 22

Summary of Game

  1. Free Bet Blackjack is a house banked game and a variation of the standard game twenty-one. It will also consist of a separate side bet known as: Push 22. The game will only be used with a six, or an eight deck shoe.
  1. During the course of play, and when the rules allow, players will have the option to receive a “free” double down, or “free” split bet, designated by the use of a specified lamer. Unlike normal blackjack rules, the player will not have to add any additional money to their original bet when doubling or splitting, but they will be paid as if they did upon winning. A loss results in the forfeiture of the initial bet only.
  1. The Push 22 side bet is an optional bet that will pay the player if the dealer busts with the exact count of 22.
  1. Both the “Free Bet” and the “Push 22” bets are entirely optional by the player.
  1. If the dealer busts with a total of 22 all remaining blackjack bets on the table will be a push.

Table Layouts and Limits

  1. The minimum and maximum wagering limits of the “Free Bet/Push 22” wager will be $5-$25.
  1. A separate betting circle (area) will be designated for the “Push 22” bet. “Free Bet” lammers will be used to designate when players elect to participate in the free double down or split. These lammers will be stored in the dealer tray when not in use.

Rule Variations and Game Details

  1. Unless stated herein, all approved rules of the game for blackjack will apply.
  1. It is the player’s responsibility to insure that it is clearly communicated to the dealer that they are electing to participate in the Free Bet, and have received the appropriate lammer from the dealer.
  1. Free Double Down
    1. Eligible on first two cards only.
    2. Only hand totals of a 9,10, & 11.
    3. Eligible after a split if the hand total qualifies.
    4. Players may double a two-card hard count of 9, 10 or 11 without making an additional wager. The dealer will place a “Free Bet” lammer to the right (dealer’s view) of the player’s original bet and deal the game normally.

    There are three possible outcomes:

    1. The player beats the dealer.
      • The dealer will pay the player for his original bet and an equivalent amount for his free double. The dealer will then collect the lammer.
    2. The player loses to the dealer.
      • The dealer will collect the player’s original bet and the lammer.
    3. The player and the dealer tie.
      • The dealer will push the player’s original bet and collect the lammer.

Free doubling after splitting is allowed, provided the player’s point total is a two card hard total of 9, 10 or 11.

*If the player makes a bet for the dealer, the dealer is also eligible for the Free Split and Free Double along with the player. The same game rules apply to the dealers bet.

  1. Free Split
  2. Players may split any pairs except 10 (10-10, J-J, Q-Q or K-K) value cards without making an additional wager. The dealer will place a “Free Bet” lammer to the right (dealer’s view) of the player’s original bet and deal the game normally.

    There are three possible outcomes:

    1. The player beats the dealer.
      • The dealer will pay the player for his original bet and an equivalent amount for his free split. The dealer will then collect the lammer.
    2. The player loses to the dealer.
      • The dealer will collect the player’s original bet and the lammer.
    3. The player and the dealer tie.
      • The dealer will push the player’s original bet and collect the lammer.

Free re-splitting up to four hands is allowed.

Each split hand is won or lost on its own merit (Ex., player can lose original bet on first split hand and still win on the second or more free split hands.) If Free Splitting a pair, and the first hand busts, the cards will be tucked under the original wager until the hand is settled or unless the second busts as well.
