Summary:

: Responsible for providing our VIP guests with first class service and amenities. Hosts will be required to develop and track recurring patrons and build client base by personal interaction and utilizing player reports. Responsible for acquiring new high value patrons, building relationships with and servicing those customers leading to increased loyalty and revenue from new customers. Responsible for increasing revenues from existing customers that are assigned to them while maintaining specified profitability requirements. Maintains specified levels of outbound calling activity and external event attendance to host and acquire new VIP level customers.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with player parties, events, phone calls, etc.
  • Administrative tasks including tracking of complimentary offerings issued for events/parties and provide computer list of players invited/attending.
  • Promote players club cards by explaining club benefits and have cards made for players.
  • Assist with resolving player comments and/or complaints.
  • Maintain clear communication with department on status of pending projects.
  • Assist Promotions Coordinator with duties associated with promotions.  
  • Assist Entertainment Coordinator with concerts and special events.  
  • Develop one on one relationship with customers assuring continued loyalty to Grand Falls Casino Resort.
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion including but not limited to customer files and habits, company procedures, data or marketing profiles.
  • Represent the company by maintaining a professional atmosphere when creating customer relationships on and off property.
  • Meets proper department and company uniform, appearance, and grooming standards.
  • Attends all company required training.
  • Ensures proper department uniform, appearance, and grooming standards are followed.
  • Complies with all Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission (IRGC) Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
  • Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license.
  • Adheres to all safety guidelines.
  • Meets company attendance requirements.
  • May be required to work days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary:

$42-$50K DOE + profit sharing and host incentives
