Golf Shop Manager

We accept walk-in interviews every Thursday (non-holiday) from 1 PM until 4 PM.


Golf Course


This position manages all aspects of the Golf Shop and its merchandise.  Assisting the Golf Director in purchasing; retail, special orders, and tournament gift items for the Golf Shop.  Oversees and/or assists in; displays, tagging items for sale, entering all merchandise into the POS, guest merchandise selection, covering shifts in the Golf Shop as a Host, maintaining a clean and neat Golf Shop at all times, and managing of Golf Shop Hosts.  Provide exceptional customer service at all time to guests and fellow co-workers.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
  • Perform monthly & quarterly Inventory reconciliation
  • Receive merchandise by verifying order, POS entry, and tag merchandise.
  • Place MMS purchase orders for all Golf Operations (Retail supplies and capital items).
  • Coordinate displays, sales tables, and create signs as necessary.
  • Assist guests in selecting merchandise.
  • Place tournament gift ordering and special orders.
  • Perform Golf Shop Host responsibilities as necessary.
  • Golf Shop Host training (daily procedures, display making, cleaning practices).
  • Outline daily Golf Shop Host responsibilities.
  • Evaluation, scheduling, and discipline of Golf Shop Hosts.
  • Manage returns of damaged and on wheels merchandise (Pants, shorts, shoes).
  • Meet and establish a business relationship with various vendors.
  • Assist where ever needed during tournaments and busy times.


  • Pre-employment drug test, arranged for by Grand Falls upon offer of employment.
  • Ability to obtain an Iowa Racing Gaming Commission license.  Arranged for by Grand Falls upon offer of employment.
