Cage Cashier ($1000 hiring bonus)

Summary:

The Cage Cashier is responsible for providing the following financial services to Elite Casino Resort guests:  Check Cashing, Cash Advances, Slot Machine Voucher Redemption, Currency Breaking, and Table Game Chip Redemption. The Cage Cashier is a professional position that maintains accuracy while performing these services.  The Cage Cashier is expected to complete all necessary paperwork and documentation associated with the position to ensure the highest level of quality and guest service is being met.  

Essential Functions:

  • Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
  • Serve as a main point of contact at the Cage for our guests.
  • Balance assigned bank at end of shift.  
  • Ability to focus on transaction, or task at hand, and not be easily distracted.
  • Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Cash handling background is helpful, but not required.
  • Ability to perform a variety of tasks to service our guests.
  • Must follow all Cage Policies and Procedures.
  • Comply with all Iowa Racing and Gaming Commission Rules and Regulations and any other local, state, or federal guidelines.
  • Attends all mandatory meetings.
  • Attends all required company training.
  • Able to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required:

  • Ability to obtain a State Gaming License and pass a Pre-employment Drug Screening; Both will be arranged by Grand Falls upon offer of employment.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrate a high level of interpersonal and communication skills.

Schedule:

Swing and Grave Shift; Full-time and Part-time Available

Salary:

An average of $20.00 per hour
