HVAC Specialist




GrandFalls Casino & Golf Resort has an immediate opening for an HVAC Specialist offering a very competitive salary and benefits package: Facility- Grand Falls is a clean climate controlled 11-year old destination resort and casino that boasts one of the Midwest’s largest state of the art geothermal HVAC systems, with 235 Climate Master water source heat pumps, a 400 ton Multistack chiller, 4-cell Govern Air ventilation system, 15 water cooled walk-in coolers/freezers, 9 Laars low pressure boilers, 4- 70 ton Aaon make up air units and much more.

Essential Functions:

  • The HVAC Specialist is lead person working under the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
  • Responsible for all aspects of our facility: heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation equipment including repairs and maintenance on low pressure boilers, heat pumps, chillers, valves, piping, thermostats, air filters, pumps, blowers, belts, bearings etc.
  • The HVAC Specialist will work closely and in conjunction with the entire maintenance staff to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance procedures are performed on all associated equipment.
  • This person will work with the Facility Expeditor in keeping an organized critical spare parts inventory as well as assisting in parts procurement.


  • Minimum a 2 year degree in HVAC & Refrigeration and 5-7 years of hands on related experience.
  • Be refrigerant certified.
  • Ability to solder and braze, possess basic troubleshooting skills and have an average level of computer literacy utilized in managing and manipulating our Building Automated System software.
  • Pre-employment drug test required.  Arranged by Grand Falls upon offer of employment.


Full Time


$25.50 w/premium pay +profit sharing
